The FNH SCAR 17S is a semi-automatic rifle chambered in 7.62×51mm NATO. Built on the SCAR platform, it features a short-stroke gas piston system and modular design typical of FN’s battle rifle series. This variant is configured with multiple aftermarket components and is referred to as fully modified, combining factory engineering with upgraded parts for customized handling and configuration.

Modifications include several components from Kinetic Development Group: the stock, rail system, charging handle (Jumbo handle), and sling. The rifle also incorporates a Surefire muzzle brake installed at the barrel’s end, along with a Grip Pod fore grip mounted to the rail. Optics are provided by an Elcan Specter variable-power sight offering magnification from 1.5× to 6×. The rifle is used, showing it has seen prior ownership and use. The configuration presents a complete integration of premium aftermarket accessories tailored to the SCAR platform.
