DEAD AIR MASK 22 HD

The Dead Air Mask 22 HD is a direct-thread rimfire suppressor rated for .22 LR, .22 Magnum, 17 HMR, 17 WSM, and 5.7x28. It weighs 6.6 ounces, measures 5.1 inches in length, and is built from a Grade 9 titanium tube with 17-4 PH stainless steel baffles. It is full-auto rated for .22 LR with no barrel length restrictions.

WHAT MAKES THE DEAD AIR MASK 22 HD DIFFERENT

Most rimfire suppressors make a compromise somewhere. The Mask 22 HD does not. Dead Air built it to lead the category on sound suppression, materials quality, and user serviceability from day one.

The Grade 9 titanium tube keeps total weight at 6.6 ounces without sacrificing durability. The 17-4 PH stainless steel baffles tolerate aggressive cleaning methods including brushes and ultrasonic tanks, which aluminum or lower-grade steel baffles cannot withstand. The click-together baffle stack uses proprietary external standoffs that minimize contact with the tube wall, so the baffles slide out cleanly even after heavy fouling. Rimfire ammunition is inherently dirty. The Mask 22 HD is built with that reality in mind.

Sound suppression is consistently rated among the best in the rimfire category. The Mask 22 HD produces little to no first-round pop on both rifles and pistols. First-round pop occurs when oxygen trapped inside the suppressor combusts on the initial shot, producing a louder-than-normal report. The Mask 22 HD eliminates this on both rifle and pistol hosts, making it one of the few rimfire cans that perform equally well across platforms.
