Service Description
This group course provides a solid introduction to the fundamentals of carbine shooting, blending the principles of precision marksmanship with real-world defensive applications. Whether you’re new to the rifle platform or looking to reinforce essential skills, this training will help you build confidence, efficiency, and control behind the gun.
The shooter must possess a comprehensive understanding of rifle safety protocols, including the proper loading and unloading procedures for their firearm.
Students will cover key topics including:
• Rifle setup and manipulation
• Reloading techniques (emergency and tactical)
• Clearing malfunctions
• Positional shooting (standing, kneeling, seated, prone)
• Movement with a rifle under simulated stress
Designed to bridge the gap between marksmanship and practical rifle application, this course is ideal for those looking to build a strong foundation for defensive carbine use.
Required Gear List
Semi-automatic Carbine/Rifle in 5.56/.223/7.62x39
300 rounds of ammunition (a minimum) No Armor Piercing, Incendiary, Steel Core, Bi-Metal or Tracer Rounds
Red Dot Optic or Low Powered Variable Optic (LPVO)
Rifle Sling
Minimum of 3 Magazines
Hearing and Eye Protection (Electronic ear protection is recommended)
Weather Appropriate Attire (No opened toed shoes)
Water/Snacks
